This reduces hands-on maintenance and also helps prevent the i3+ EVO from overfilling, but it must be manually empty after each cleaning session. The i3+ EVO dustbin can hold 2.4L, which will last for four to five cleaning sessions.

Like the i7, utilizes state-of-the-art floor-tracking sensors to produce maps. It can also allow you to navigate in neat rows. However the i3+ EVO only stores a single map while the i7 is able to store multiple maps. The map of the i7 can be used to create virtual barriers and no-go zones however, not the i3+ EVO.

The i3+ EVO is more effective of removing surface debris compared to some other robovacs that we have reviewed, but it is not the most effective in cleaning edges and corners. It's also more abrasive on furniture despite being relatively quiet. It was quite rough on furniture, as it forced chairs away. It also caused collisions with the sides of the bed.

It also did a great job of avoiding obstacles such as furniture. It also finds its way back to the base station in case it is unable to recharge its batteries during a cleaning session.

The spot cleaning mode lets you to clean a certain area on your floor. And it can be manually programmed to follow a specific path, which is beneficial if you have narrow hallways or stairs. It did a good job of cleaning carpets in our carpet cleaning evaluation however, it had trouble with longer pile carpets and rug. It is able to lift the mop pad when it comes into contact with carpet. This is an excellent feature for those who want to save the time of mopping their carpets.

The iMop has an onboard dust bin as well as a water tank that it fills and refills at the end of each cleaning session.
